KIO-O Centre de ressourcement et de créativité inc. (Kio-o Retreat and Creativity Centre) operates Kio-o.ca (hereafter “the Website”), which provides access to information on the Laurentian-based centre (Quebec, Canada) and on the creativity and wellness classes and workshops that it offers.

The Calendar tab allows you to search by type of activity, facilitator or class date. By using and carrying out searches on our calendar, you release Kio-o.ca from any claim or liability with regard to the use of the information provided in the calendar.

Kio-o.ca also provides information about the premises, accommodation, activities, meals and workshop rates.

Kio-o.ca belongs to its owners and is neither affiliated with nor dependant on or maintained by any other business, organization, trademark or product provider.

4. Conditions for registering your workshop (for facilitators)

Registration
First contact Lise Dagenais (819-326-6121) in order to discuss the workshop content, rate, sign-up procedure and date(s), etc. Note that you do not need to have a website to offer an event at Kio-o. You do, however, need a valid email address, to facilitate communication with your future participants and with Kio-o.ca.

Facilitator profile
We need the following information from you so we can publicize the correct details about your workshop on our Website and to Kio-o newsletter subscribers:
•    First name, family name and title
•    Address or region where you offer your services
•    Phone number
•    Personal email address
•    Website, if you have one
•    Activity category (personal development, creative expression, meditation, movement, holistic health, yoga)
•    Recent photo
•    Photo or image portraying your workshop (if possible)
•    Short text about you
•    Short text outlining the details of your workshop

We cannot be held responsible for the content of your event page; we simply provide a space for the description on our Website. In the same way, we cannot be held responsible for the content of your website or Facebook page; we simply provide a hyperlink to your website or Facebook page from the event page.

By submitting any material, links, texts, photos or videos to be accessed from your event page, you grant us permission to put this material on Kio-o.ca. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are the rightful owner of all documentation that you submit (or that you have full rights to reproduce it), and that no one else can claim rights to it.

We do, however, reserve the right to delete any event page that contains, shows or communicates information that is erroneous, unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, blasphemous or indecent in any way, including, among other things, any content constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence.

 

5. Conditions for registering for a workshop (for participants)

 

Registering for a workshop

To register for a workshop organized by Kio-o, participants must call 819-326-6121 or send an email to info@kio-o.ca. We will provide any information you need, and you will be able to make a deposit to confirm your registration.

To register for a workshop that is not organized by Kio-o, please communicate directly with the organizer and facilitator.

Paying for a workshop
For workshops organized by Kio-o, participants can make a deposit payment of $75 using the PayPal^© link in the workshop description page. When the PayPal^© link is not shown on the workshop description page, payment should be made directly to the workshop facilitator.

 

6. General conditions

Information provided on this Website is intended to be for informational purposes only. The Website publishes articles and information that it considers worthy of interest on issues relating to personal development, creative expression, meditation, movement, holistic health and yoga. While every reasonable effort has been made by Kio-o.ca administrators to ensure that the information and documents contained within this Website are accurate, they cannot guarantee that they are indisputable, true or comprehensive. The views and opinions contained in the articles or in the facilitator profiles on the Website are strictly those of the author and are not necessarily shared by Kio-o.ca.
