Saranaz Mohammadi was introduced to natural, complementary, and holistic therapies about 17 years ago. Her practice transformed her outlook on life, inspiring her to pursue a career in massage therapy. Over the years, her curiosity has driven her to continually learn, explore, understand, and experiment with various techniques, tools, and practices. She views the body as an incredible machine and a vessel for growth, expression, expansion, experience, and evolution. Throughout her journey, she has studied breathwork and approaches from Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrating these with massage techniques.
Driven by a desire to promote lasting change through increased awareness of the body's interconnected systems, she has completed two coaching courses accredited by the International Coaching Federation and continues to nurture her passion by taking classes each year. She combines bodywork, mindfulness, and embodiment into her coaching practice.
Passionate about the power of the constantly evolving human mind, body, and spirit, Sara has committed herself to sharing her knowledge with clients and colleagues. She seeks to increase awareness of the simplicity of mindful movement, awareness, sensation, intentional creation, breath, and practices that help shift mental and physical states to reach greater potential. She values authenticity and presence in her daily interactions with clients and her community involvement.
Providing hands-on adjustments in restorative yin yoga classes in Montreal and supporting new students as Setsuko's student advisor for massage and bodywork, as well as volunteering as a guide and mentor for the Canadian Massage Championship, have become ways to stay connected and share her knowledge and passion with the world.
